Dive BalicasThe island of Bohol is located in Central Visayas. It's approximately 803 km. south of Manila and 79km. southeast of the island of Cebu. It's oval-shaped dotted with 72 smaller islets. Bohol is the 10th largest island in the Philippines and is known for its heritage, white sand beaches and world class dive sites.

Also known as God's little paradise! Bohol is one of the hottest travel destinations in the Philippines, with it's famous Chocolate Hills, beautiful water falls, caves and white sandy beaches with blue crystal waters. Also the cute little Tarsiers, small monkey like animals native to Bohol. Rich in culture and heritage with age old churches and landmarks.

 BALICASAG ISLAND
Known as the best dive site in the Visayas area. The island of Balicasag is located 10km southwest of Panglao. There is also a beautiful coral reef that is good for both diving and snorkelling. With approximately 400 marine sanctuaries on the southern side. In the sanctuaries you will find Walls, drop-offs and overhangs. A wide range of marine life can be seen, such as anemones, crinoids, sponges and feather stars. Divers may also encounter barracuda, jacks, groupers and batfish. These dive sites are excellent for photography.

 CABILAO ISLAND
Located in the northwest corner of Bohol and can be reached from Alona or from Mactan Island to the north. The dive sites are depths between 20 t 50 meters and has some strong currents. What makes this site so fantastic are the beautiful coral gardens, crinoids, gorgonians and soft corals. Also the site Hammerhead Point suggests exactly that, schools of hammerhead sharks. A lighthouse can be found in the north-western tip near Hammerhead Point. Great underwater marine life such as barracuda, mackerel, wrasses, tuna, groupers and jacks. In the southern side of the island there is a wall that descends 40 meters which is good for drift diving.

PANGLAO ISLAND
Known for its white sand beach resorts and crystal blue waters. Panglao hosts some amazing dive locations on the south side such as Alona Beach Sanctuary, Kalipayan and Bohol Beach Club. Providing a beautiful variety of underwater marine life like lionfish, scorpionfish, batfish, moray eels and sea snakes. These dive sites are known for there steep wall and slopes. After a good days diving its nice to relax back at one of the world class resorts.

 PAMILACAN ISLAND
This islands name means "resting place of mantas". It's located 3 km east of Balicasag. A marine sanctuary can be found in the north-western side of the island. On the south of Pamilacan lies the Snake island also known as Cervera Shoal. This is a sunken island with a sea mount rising to 15 meters. You can see marine life like butterflyfish, whitetip sharks, scorpionfish and surgeons there.
